pcornacchoine-I will use my same user name then I guess, but no I don't have a list and that is mainly because of ebays rules and by the way I interpertated them. I can find out the email addresses of some of my buyers though and I will put the name in my EOA's from ebay. Thanks

hey dimview...i told you things were gonna be on the rise at epier!!

I had thought there'd be some discussion about WHY ePier was going to "be on the rise" which would have given credibility to the forecast.

Without the REASONS, statement like this look more like guesses, so perhaps we'll get some discussion going yet on this topic.

Looks to me like the reason for the growth of epier over the last few weeks, is the influx of War Memorabilia sellers.

With every new item ebay bans (anyone REALLY think ebay is done banning stuff? HA!), sites like epier benefit.

The trick now for both eiper, the company, and epier, the users is to;

A) Keep those militaria buyers on the site by offering "cross-interest" items.

B) Site stability and funcition is important to everyone, especially the new user.

C) Quality items, this was addressed earlier in this thread, and its a good point that needs to be restated.

D) I forgot what "D" was suppose to be... sheesh, its hell getting old!

On that note, I'll end this post...

I believe the reasons you will see continued growth are:

The seller base at this site is growing rapidly. At the end of February when I joined this site there were 1402 people selling on the site. Through March and mid April growth in this area, was slowly improving. Over the last few weeks this number has increased to 2983.

Another factor that is pointing to success is the number of auctions being closed as sold are way up.

There are some more factors coming into play here , when ebay starts relying on its system to close auctions that are not allowed , this will be their biggest blunder yet.

So I expect their numbers will keep improving.

well IMO one of the main reasons epier started to grow was yahoo's GREED policy implementation...i left yahoo when it turned greedy and i know of several others who did as well

then ebay had to go and turn asinine and let the beliefs of a few dictate policy changes...my belief is if you don't like it then don't look at it!! the ban on the Nazi material is utterly ridiculous...they have a legitimate place in history whether anyone likes it or not

relayerone doesn't like OOP books or cheap used clothes...should we ban those as well?? i'm sure there are others who share that dislike...maybe they should sue ebay and get those items banned as well

personally i don't like people that overcharge for shipping...shouldn't they be banned as well?? maybe we should start a law suit against the overchargers??

i don't see an end in sight with ebay's bans...i'm sure that eventually you will need *APPROVAL* to list any auction...they are slowly weeding out the little sellers in favor of the high volume sellers so if you aren't up there in fee payments to ebay then you can prolly expect to be weeded out over the next year

sites like epier will continue to grow and reap the benefit of ebay's mistakes!!
