Okay Pharlap I might have to send my parents or my brother to check this place out down the coast. They both live down there, as a matter of fact I am pretty sure that my brother lives not far from you. Goodnight.

Hi Mouse, are you having problems getting in to AW tonight, or maybe it is only me. I might have to go and eat some chocolate instead.

He's sleeping, mouse. A very rare thing so I'm savouring the peace and quiet

Netta Even with cable, it's horrendously slow for me too (glad there's nothing I have to snipe tonight). Maybe it's a geographic problem?

Hi Michelle and everyone, I thought it was my 'putor playing up tonight but it looks like everybody is having troubles.
Time has really been getting away from me recently and I haven't been around to post too often.
A lot of the time has been on the golf course with these tournaments. Still moving forward in the big one. Have another round to play on Thursday and a skins game tommorow!
In addition to the social side I've been very busy with a couple of things that have taken up a lot of my time recently business wise. I've been moving out of a couple of business's I was involved with and it's taken a bit more time than I bargained for.

Bob, Downunder but never down.

Hello Bob we thought that we had lost you. Actually we knew that you have been lurking just waiting for the right moment to come out of hiding.

I hope everything goes well for you with your games and your business. Is it cold down you way? We are having a very mild winter up here. It does get cold but only for a day or two and them it warms up again, I am not sure if it is getting ready to blast us with cold or if we are only going to get a small dose of winter this year. Even the ski season is slow starting this year.

Michelle I really hope your little one sleeps a big sleep for you tonight.

I might get back in a little while, but I am not promising anything, I will see if I can get back or not.

Hi nettak, It's been mild here too most of the time. Today and yesterday has been very, very windy.
I've got out of a couple of small business ventures that I was involved in. They were too time consuming for the profit they returned and just not worth the hassle.
I'm at the point of wanting to do things for fun so I'm glad that they are out of my hair.
I find that I can make just as much by wheeling and dealing and it's much more fun! Never know what tommorows going to bring.

Bob, Downunder but never down.

Sorry Bob, I got sidetracked for a short while, actually I was working. It is almost midnight so I am off in a very short while.

I would rather be having fun than working as well, and you are so right, you never know what tomorrow will bring. It could be the day you find some priceless art object to sell on ebay and make your fortune. LOL Maybe I will have to start listing all the things that I have been stockpiling up. I could have a fortune just sitting waiting for me to list it. Anything would be better than having to do real work.

Sorry you two, I went out to my oh so organized eBay area (ok, my overstuffed garage ) to do some work before the sun comes up and makes it even more miserable out there. I'm thinking a portable a/c unit might be in order!

Hi Bob! I'm happy to hear you're still doing well in the golf tournaments and making your life more fun. I think that's what I need to do...You're giving me ideas.

Speaking oe eBay stuff...I needed to get into the office closet to put some clothes away (that's where I keep my dress up clothes, so the cats can't get to them because they have access to the bedroom closet). Anyway, I had some stuff piled on the floor in front of the door, so I put it all away (ok, shoved it into the closet). In the meantime, I started looking at what was really in there. Now I know I cleaned it out last summer when I first started selling on eBay, but I found a ton more stuff to get rid of, um, I mean sell! LOL Who says I have to go buy new items? I just wish my camera would hurry up and get here so I can get started! My rack is getting too full again and I'm always afraid it will fall over (it's kind of cheap).

Bob I don't think I ever hear about you without the word golf creeping in. You sound like my step sister's husband in Ohio who was having heart surgery Mon. and argueing with the Doc that he had a golf date for the weekend. The Doc had to say no three times.

Hi nettak, The family are all well. My eldest boy just landed himself a plum of a full time job yesterday. Ever since he left school he's only ever worked part time so this will be a culture shock for him!

nettak, Ever since he's left school, he's worked for Safeway. He has got himself a full time job with the team that are converting about 350 of the Franklins supermarkets to the Safeway chain.
He'll be working all over the country doing the layouts for all the stores and organising the new fit outs.
Loks like his experience these last few years has paid off.
We are tickled pink for him.

I don't go in for the chat room thing, or at least not anywhere apart from here..... One of my sister's got very caught up with the chat rooms and she has even met a few of the people she talks to. It is just not my scene at all. In fact it gives me the horrors thinking about it.

Mouse they are lovely, and I am glad you got your new camera.

Bob we don't have Safeway up here, but I think they are the same as Franklins, in fact I think they are owned by the same company. What a wonderful bit of news, I am so pleased for him, but I still wish my son could get a full time job. You know how down they get when they are looking for work and can not get anything, I told him to stop putting us down as a reference, because although he has worked for us for a long time and he is better than most of the adult men we have had working for us over the years, it always looks like we have given him a glowing reference just because he is our son. Sometimes it is better not to say anything at all.
