I have talked to many people and business about paypal taking money out of someone's Bank account anytime they feel like it. EXAMPLE....a person i know owed paypay about $80.00 in the neg. this person told them not to use there bank account because there was'nt much money in it. And the only reason they had the information on the account was to open a account with paypal for I.D. purposes only they said and than it would be deleted. Well that was a lie...This person was paying the balance off by selling stuff every day and in about 4 day the balance was paid in full. After that the person in question checked there bank statement and found out paypay went into there account 10 time in one week to try to get money out when there was no money in the account which they were told many times.By doing that it cost that person over $350.00 so far. What do you think?????????I can tell you many ,many more story like this.

PayPal can no longer go into your personal bank account. It's in an updated section of their user agreement and has been there for quite some time. Either this person is lying or PayPal went against their own user agreement. Either way, they need to read all the updates to the user agreement. I don't have the time to find it again, but it is there.

paypal does not have ways to deal with exceptions such as 'i signed up with this bank account but there aint no money in it,i just open this account so i can register with you and i will soon delete this account.BLA BLA BLA.,SO DONT YOU BOTHER TO DIP INTO MY BANK ACCOUNT,MORE BLA BLA BLA/
the system is programmed to handle most cases in same manner,if the exceptions are not programmed into their system, then you are running a list of being ignored, worse than ignore, you will be trampled and run over.
This is not the same as your local brick and mortar banker who caters to high networth customers and have an officer assigned to you and cater to your special needs.
Like Cheryl said,Paypal cannot access our bank account any more,so ??
how long ago did paypal access the bank account??

You are right. You either deal with the idiosyncrasies of Paypal or you don't. Sh*t or get off the pot. Quite griping or stop using it. No one is forcing you. Sheesh.
