The lack of service from Take To Auction www.taketoauction.com has been mentioned all around the collector community. But also the stories of non-delivery of goods, denied goods, countless complaints and the quality of goods has heated up the message boards and chat rooms of collector sites over the last week. Most notably was a complaint that TTA refused a winning bidder the right of merchandise, saying a "system problem" prevented them from completing the sale, without properly notifying the member of TTA that selected the item from TTA's inventory. In addition the member of TTA was denied the profits gained on the item due to the refusal of TTA to complete the sale with the high bidder. HOW can this be allowed ? Easy. The fine print in the TTA user agreement basically allows TTA to refuse service, profits and items to anyone, as long as they claim "system problems". The auction house of choice for this unscrupulous company is EBAY exclusively. How can EBAY allow this to continue ? Because the collector community is not COMPLAINING loud enough. I urge registered users of EBAY to complain to EBAY about Take To Auction, ignore the Take To Auction items being offered on EBAY and SHUN the Take To Auction membership sign-up. This company is hanging on a thin thread and it is time to snip it from the quality sites we as collectors expect from auction houses and the business ethics standards demanded on the WWW by our community.
