Hi all:
As part of the open house I wanted to do something a little special so I cooked up a brief 'realmedia' introduction to the myauctions function on auctions.com.
If you already have the realmedia player installed, you can just click on this link and go. If you're window is 640X480, go ahead and click on "full screen" because the presentation is made at that size.
Let me know what you think and also any problems you encounter.

PS: Streaming media is actually a pretty cool technology and I think it won't be long before some of the more advanced sellers start employing it.

GOOD idea! I've really been surprised that none of the online auctions have utilized this new technology, particularly for *teaching* things.
I also suprised that some folks haven't used to describe their auctions.
With the slide show module, you simply need a mic and a single picture and you could talk your presentation. The fact that you could put three or four images is just gravy.
