Hi,
All my 30-day FP auctions are set for immediate Paypal payment but after the sale almost NONE of Vendio functions are updated.

After the sale Vendio recognizes the sale but not the payment. It updates when customer leaves feedback but would not automatically leave my feedback.

I have received only one confirmation that automated email was ever sent to my customers.

I have updated the token but it did not help.

What I'm doing wrong?

Thanks,
Jack

Hello Jack,

Please let us know an example listing number where you have had this problem, so that we can take a look.

Nathan,
here is the example: 260292741009 but again, it happens with ALL my sold items. Please go to my SMIE and check Post Sale Summary.

Vendio recognizes ended items but nothing else. Post sale keys and not checked at all. Some feedback left for me is recognized but Vendio did not respond with feedback at all.

Thanks,
Jack

Nathan,
Thanks for your help.

I have not updated any fields so you can see the problem but I'm going to leave feedback to all by customers by hand. Many people are particular about their feedback so I don't want them to wait.

Thanks,
Jack

Hello Jack,

Our engineers took a look at your account and found the following:

1. They verified that PayPal IPN (Instant Payment Notifications) in general is working correctly, but there was no IPN for your account. Did you follow the instructions located here?

http://www.vendio.com/promo/mailstep/ipn_tran.html

2. While the automatic WBN (Winning Bidder Notification) is turned on in your account as a default, it was not turned on for this listing. It is likely that the default setting was enabled after this listing was listed. The setting would only work automatically for listings that were launched after it was enabled, and for inventory items that were created after the setting was enabled. You may enable it for your current inventory items (for the future listings) by selecting the inventory items to edit (note that this can be done in bulk up to 50 items at a time) --> then go to the "Payment & Shipping" tab and edit the "Postsale & Checkout" section. Select "Automatically send Winning Bidder Notification (WBN) when auction closes with a valid winner" and copy the setting to the other inventory items.

3. Your feedback settings are set to send feedback automatically after the item is marked as paid. So you would need to check off step 3 (Payment Received) in post-sale for the feedback to be sent automatically (note that if the PayPal IPN problem is corrected, then this step will be marked automatically, and the feedback will be sent automatically).

Regards,
Nathan

Nathan,
I have several Vendio accounts. Is enabling IPN for this account going to affect my other, properly working Vendio accounts?

Thanks,
Jack

Nathan,
My IPN notification in Paypal is already linked to my main Vendio account (jackmikol).

How come my other Vendio accounts are working properly and they are not IPN enabled in Paypal. Can't you take sale, payment, shipment, etc. notifications directly from eBay?

Hello Jack,

You should be able to do this, however you are only able to enter this information for one Vendio account into your PayPal account. If you need this active for all of your Vendio accounts, then you would need to have a different PayPal account for each Vendio account.

Nathan

Nathan,
Unlike eBay, you are allowed to have only ONE Paypal account.

I have four Vendio accounts. Three of them work properly and one is not. It has to be something other than Paypal IPN.

Thanks,
Jack

Nathan,
your link directs me to substitute my main eBay/Vendio IPN with my miscelanous jackmikol1 account.

Are you going to assure me that this is not going to mess up my main ebay account?

Again, my 3 of 4 Vendio accounts work properly.

Hello Jack,

No. I cannot assure you of this. I can only assure you that the engineers have informed me that in order for this to work on your account "jackmikol1" you will need to follow the instructions that I have provided.

Nathan

Hello Jack,

Also, I am showing that you have a different PayPal email address on file for your account "jackmikol1" than you do for your account "jackmikol". So it looks like you are either using two different PayPal accounts or one of them has been entered incorrectly into your Vendio account (or "jackmikol" is not one of the other accounts that you are referring to).

Nathan

Nathan,
I really appreciate your super fast responses on Saturday evening but I'm concerned with your answers. Paypal is an integral part of eBay and Vendio stuff should be 100% familiar with eBay AND Paypal.

Paypal allows only one account. In order to open the account you need to provide tax ID or social security number.

To facilitate different eBay accounts and other venues, Paypal allows 6-8 email accounts to be linked to ONE account.

Is these anybody at Vendio who knows how to allow several Vendio accounuts to work with several eBay accounts and ONE Paypal account.

Jack

Nathan,
Did you have a chance to find out how to set up several Vendio accounts to communicate with Paypal.

Again, I'm allowed to have one Paypal account.

Thanks,
Jack
