Is it me, or has Vendio instituted PoP Up adds ? When clicking between Pending, closed, Summary, I got 2 x Pop Ups in the last few hours for NetFlix - Just curious if anyone else is see Pop Up's. These are within Vendio, not regular PopUps

Uh oh. Vendio doesn't use pop-ups, which is unfortunate because that means you have ad-ware on your computer triggering them even when your not on a site that uses popups.
There are dozens of programs out there, each of which you should use at your own risk. One such example is Spybot's search and destroy.
Vendio cannot offer support in using such a program, but I can personally say it has been good to me in the past.

I am getting Netflix pop-ups too. Got a pop-up when I tried to get to community. I am a computer ignoramus and have no idea what to do about it.

I am getting them too.
On Vendio.
I had not got them anywhere else, and this was the only site I have been on today!

Chris - Let me clarify - Using the term PoP Up was perhaps not correct. I should have used the term redirect, or some other term. A new Window does not PoP-Up, rather the screen ( Still within Vendio ) changes with the NetFlix Add apperaing. There is a 15 second timer associated with viewing the add. Clicking on the countdown timer cleards the add and takes the user back to where they were trying to get to in the first place. - Same happens if you let the countdown timer just expire after 15 secionds. You can see others are now reporting the same thing
I Have AVG and Stopzilla installed on my system to block Pop Ups.

It just happened again when I hit Post of the last message. I have no other Windows open, just Vendio - got the add for Netflix, countdown timer, then back to Vendio community forum

I have gone all over the internet and have not had it happen again.
It only happened one time on Vendio.

I just clicked on my pending and it happened again.
This is only happening on Vendio and I have already run my computer for spyware.

We put a request in with engineering to confirm that none of our advertisers are using these types of ads and will post back when we have more information available.

I am now experiencing the same problem. This must be on Vendio's platform, as I just previously scrubbed my files. And, will do so now.
I should note that I was at the SMIE board, and after I made a revisdion to my post the ad appeared, and then disappeared.

Chris - Installed SpyBot SD - ran it, there were 2 removed - still getting the netflix ad

It is possible that one of the advertisers switched to one of these style ads without approval, and if needed we'll disable all ads to clear it if this persists.
edited to add: we may have found the offending ad and are testing a fix to address this. We will post back when more information is available.

We found the offending ad and removed it from the site. Please let us know if you notice this ad on the Vendio website again.
