Why is it that my pictures look fine on the auction but when I click on image to zoom in, it's very large? Should I reduce the size of the image, they are mostly less than 200k. Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing?
Thanks..CindyD
The physical size of the images and the file size of the images don't always relate to each other. You can have a large file size on an image that is physically smaller in it's total dimensions.
Either via your camera itself or via the software you use to download your images from the camera (or edit them in anyway) would need to be used to change the size of the full size images prior to your uploading them for use on eBay.
Personally I use a free program called Picasa from Google to resize images for use on eBay. When doing it this way, set the camera to take the largest clearest images you possibly can, and then rely on Picasa (or your program of choice) to resize them prior to upload.

Thank You for your help. I do use Picasa but not to upload my photos. I've been using Adobe Elements. I will change from now on to see if that works.
