Hi: I've had two surgeries over the last few months and have listed nothing on eBay. Today I got some courage up and decided to list--again--some unsold items. I did this by copy and pasting into a brand-new listing page.
They didn't list anyway. I don't understand. Still getting a message from eBay that # ______ is no longer in their database. I don't get what is going on with that and would love some good advice. Thanks! Adele

Still waiting to hear from someone about this. All systems are on hold until then!

Hello,
You wouldn't run into the error message you mentioned by copying an existing ad and submitting that, rather only when you click to actually relist one that is that old.
Try editing the item, then clicking the 'copy' link in the upper right hand corner of the page. This will take you directly into the copy version. Once your in the copied version, scroll to the bottom of the page and click to either schedule or launch the item.
This copied version, of an item showing the error message your referring to, should launch without error (or should at least not run into this specific error.)

Thanks, Christopher. I'll give it a try and let you know. Adele
