My actual images do not appear (after saying successfully uploaded) on that screen or in the image hosting box in the auction. Where are they??? Thanks

Hello,

Try refreshing the page and let us know if they are loading ok. There may have been an issue when you reactivated your image hosting service today, which should be resolved.

Chris

Thanks Chris that worked. However, on a couple images that I want to upload, they couldn't be uploaded in standard fashion but would in Zoomstream. Why? They are not intricate pictures or heavy color shots... I don't want to pay $1 each. I did do the Zoomstream upload for three images and now don't see a tab/button to attach a gallery image. Why not?

Continued problem with Standard image uploads. They keep failing!!! They say they exceed the 1000+ MB. Then it suggests Zoomstream! This is totally frustrating. I have tried editing my images to cut down some of the richness, etc. but it still failed. Im not sure how to change my photos to fit within the Standard qualifications and without signing up for a more expensive plan! Ive never had these problems before. Please advise I have 29 more auctions to launch...hopefully without problems.

Hello,

The error your running into is what happens when your images are more than 1MB in size.
While the zoomstream images are nice if you really wanted to use some huge pictures for showing detail, there is a better solution for you.

On the image hosting page, look for a sub-menu on the left side of the page that says XPress Publisher. It's a tool that is built into Windows XP and you can use our utility on that page to set it up to work with Vendio also.

The great thing about the Windows XPress Publisher is that you can resize your images WHILE you upload them. This means you don't have to worry about the sizes at all, just get the best looking image you can regardless of the file-size and when you upload simply check the box to resize in the process and select the size option labeled 'Large' - which will cut a 2.5MB image down to 3-400k each.

Not only is it great to use because it can resize, but also because you can upload hundreds of images by simply going to that folder on your computer - no more clicking 'browse' to find each one.

Chris

Totally frustrated with image upload! I am trying to launch a bunch of auctions and only like 2 out 10 images will upload. I am frustrated with paying $20 bucks a month (I don't even do auctions once a month)and have to spend so much time trying get images loaded. You recommended downloading the XP web wizard from your website which I just did. However, I can't find it on my computer anywhere! It seems to download successfully but then it doesn't take me to the wizard setup windos with steps etc . Where can I see that it is downloaded and then instrutions to easily use it so that I can get my auctions launched quickly???? Thanks.

Hello,

I am sorry for the trouble you are having with this. If you downloaded the XPress Image Publisher and clicked to install, you probably did successfully install it. This feature is only a line of text that goes in the registry so there's no installation process like with an actual application.

Try this - go to your image folder. If you don't see a sidebar with the File and Folder tasks menu click Tools -> Folder Options, and under the "General" tab, check "Show common tasks in folders", then Apply and OK. Once the sidebar is added, you should see the "Publish this folder to the Web" option. Click this, and on the third page (Where do you want to publish these files) you should see the Vendio Image Hosting icon. If you don't please let us know.

Regards,
Nathan
