after 11 years with you i have a question what is the recomended size (pixeles) of a post card picture to send to ebay ???
This is really a seller preference, since there are so many variables with the equipment used to take the image as well as edit the photo afterward (and even where you store it once your ready to use it.)
Vendio doesn't compress images from how they are uploaded, so the dimensions and file size will remain the same once uploaded (vs a number of sites that will compress/resize upon upload to save server space.)
The most important thing then is to make sure it looks good to you on your computer before you upload it into your account.
If you use the 'click to supersize' images I would try to limit them in max dimensions to 800x600, as there are a number of buyers out there still on dialup connections and using smaller resolutions monitors. You can however make the most of this space by cropping your images prior to upload to kill any wasted border space.
This next tip I got from an eBay message board post once and is also important:
"When preparing a photo that will end up being used for eBay's gallery - do the best you can to crop to an exact square (width equals height). That "aspect ratio" results in a significantly larger appearance in the search and browse pages. In fact, keep "square" in mind as you set up ALL your shots because that will produce the largest views everywhere eBay shows them."
