Hi,

I haven't ebayed since last spring.

I use SMP and used to use Vendio's checkout.

Please let me know if I need to change any Vendio or Ebay settings, now that Ebay doesn't allow third party checkouts.

And are there any other settings in SMP or Vendio itself, and Ebay that should be changed before I start selling again?

Hello Lynn,

Third party checkout is still allowed, eBay just made their announcement way in advance - (the changes don't start until next summer.)

You can no longer offer optional insurance though - you either pad it into your shipping costs or pay for it yourself, but it can no longer be a paid option during checkout.

No other changes should be needed before resuming selling again, but let us know if you run into any questions.

Thanks Chris,

I just looked at the topic by toyspast called "Vendio check-out" (it's 2 down from this one).

Does the check-out redirect give buyers the option of paying through Ebay or will it take them directly to Vendio? And can I still edit or combine payments through Vendio?

Hello Lynn,

Checkout redirect will redirect your buyers to Vendio checkout instead of sending them to eBay checkout. You may edit and/or combine orders in Vendio.
