In looking at our charges on our account, I notice that we are being charged 3 times every time we launch an auction. Could you please explain.

Hello,
Sorry for the delay. Be sure also to email from the help page as this is how you contact the billing department if you have any follow up questions.
The triple fees you've noticed on your statement are due to the previously announced (this was in April of 2009) fee structure change for 30 day FP listings. Before eBay introduced this listing duration for fixed-price items, you were only able to list a fixed-price item for a 10 day maximum duration - which means that prior to this change you were listing the same item 3 times vs. 1 time under the 30 day duration. If you were listing 7-10 day listings before, you really shouldn't see any change in the amount you were charged on a monthly basis prior to last October. We do offer the ability to file for a refund if your item sells in a shorter duration as a way to offset possible perception of increased costs. Please let us know if you need more information about this.
If you are on a plan with a fixed number of items and you are finding that you are exceeding the maximum number of included items, please let us know and we'll have a sales rep contact you to discuss alternative options.

I have also been pondering a similar situation. We need further clarity - in that I am using the old platform, upon which remains all the FP listings that were listed in an eBay store that has since been closed.
I am considering opening another eBay store for a segment of the inventory that is not selling very well in my main store, which is not located on eBay.
Since there are currently hundreds of items listed on the old platform, my thought was to use Vendio to list to an eBay store since the information is already on Vendio.
Will all FP listings sent to the new eBay store be charge at a single rate, or will I be charged the higher 3X rate for FP listings?
If I have to relist to the new platform, I will just create new listings elsewhere.

Hello Bill,
It depends completely on the payment plan you have. If the plan your on charges listing fees, then you would see those charges for these new items your referencing listing.
If however your on the plan with just final value fees and no listing fees, then the policy doesn't matter as it only applies to the plans where a listing fee is charged.
