eBay is not going to enforce the 500 minimum pixel size until I think November. Can you put something in place that will alert us when the photo doesn't meet the amount required soon, so I can start taking care of this BEFORE the Christmas rush. I don't have the time to check each photo and was going to wait until it just wouldn't launch, but thought about it and figured if I could start getting the alerts, I could take it at a more leisurely pace. I don't suppose there's anyway you can increase the size on YOUR end is there? Just thought I'd ask....
We cannot take an existing small image and make it bigger unfortunately. It would distort it and look ugly even if you did that to a small existing photo.
Most all images are well over the new eBay requirement anyway, since only one side of the photo needs to be greater than 500 pixels. We'll be happy to pass along a suggestion that a warning be placed when uploading images smaller than this, but for now you could simply adjust this on the camera settings side of your process. I can't imagine any camera's that take images smaller than XYZ X 500 pixels, but you can usually adjust the default size of images taken from within the camera settings if yours is smaller than that.
Of you simply crop your images, you can usually see the pixel size of the images during the crop process, depending on the software being used to crop them.
