I wrote about this before but the problem seems to be getting worse. I sold two items this week that were not tracked by Vendio. These items were listed through Vendio and do have Vendio picture hosting. When I tried to import them through Vendio tracking, I got an error "can not parse results" and items would not import.

Now I see that they both have the same batch numbers. My titles include a batch number which indicates they were listed around the same time. Items in this batch were listed 8/21,8/22, 8/24 and 8/25 2008. When I run a search for items with batch "082108" in the title in Vendio Active items, I get a result of 5 items showing this batch. When I do an eBay search, I get 18 items.

I tried to import the eBay active items to Vendio using the track function and get the same "can not parse results" error. How do I get these items to Vendio? How many more are there?

Hello,

We can help you backtrack specific items no problem - just let us know the item number of one or two.

Running a regular import from eBay should bring in all items you have on eBay that are not currently being tracked in your Vendio account. The option to track a single item via item number is unfortunately offline still so the import tool is the only available option.

Chris

I will give you the numbers i need to import, thank you. The reason I haven't been doing regular imports is that I *think* I remember that all images came over again with new id even though the new id's do not link to the images in the listings themselves. Is that correct? If I do an import, will 20,000 images come over with new ids?

Hello,

When you do the import from eBay, it will bring in any active or recently closed listings that are not currently in your Vendio account. It is true that the images will be imported with a new file name. However, the images will only be imported for those listings that are not currently in your Vendio account. So unless you have a large number of listings active on eBay that are not currently in Vendio (it doesn't sound like this is the case), then it would not be that many images.

Unfortunately, the only way to bring in the listings at this time is to do the eBay import. Please give it a try and let us know should you run into any problems.

Usually this problem happens (the listings are live on eBay and launched from Vendio, but not showing in Vendio) when we get an "ambiguous launch error" from eBay. This means that we sent the listing information from eBay, but did not receive a reply from their system one way or the other to let us know if the listings were successful or if they failed to launch.

Regards,
Nathan
