I just wanted to report that your pages are slow to load, stall and show white screen, etc. This is happening this evening (3/18/13). I have had to backspace out or re-start Vendio to continue. I was attempting to re-list. When this happens is when things like duplicate listings happen, so if this is your problem, I would like you to investigate this quickly. Thanks!

Hello,

There didn't appear to be any load issues around that specific timeframe last night, though we did have a micro-outage around 4:14AM PST this morning to perform a change to one of the servers. There shouldn't have been any noticeable impact from it however.

Please let us know if you encounter this again so we can track it.

If you haven't already try to eliminate any possible browser issues by clearing temp files/cache, especially if you use Internet Explorer.

Regards,
Chris

Pages loading so slow during relisting that it's timing out.
This has been an ever increasing problem for the past number of months.

Vendio, I am alternating between crying and almost breaking my keyboard as I am trying to re-list approx 200 items. I started at 9:30am and your site was SLOW as molassis and then a few minutes later, I was zip-zip zipping along, and then a few minutes later, SLAM into a brick wall, and then a few minutes later, moving along okay, then BAM, slow again, and then a few minutes later, zip-zip-zip, doing great and then TIMED OUT when I was trying to launch the 50 that I did. When that happens, it causes some to duplicate. I am VERY VERY upset right now. PLEASE PLEASE do something about this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello,

I am sorry for the problems this is causing you. Please let us know a specific example of a specific area that you clicked in your account where it was slow to load, and let us know how long exactly it took to load, so that we can take a closer look.

Regards,
Nathan

Nathan, I'm not sure how much more specific I can get. I was re-listing and it would stall at various points. I'd click on one to edit, and it would just sit and sit - sometimes I had to click on it again to wake it up and get it to load. Other times, I was trying to save the edited page and it would do the same thing. Then I finished editing all the items (I do 50 at a time) and it stalled so long, it gave me the error/timed out message. That's when I went back into pending and saw most had scheduled okay but a few duplicated or failed to schedule. But other times, it was fine and I was having no problems at all. It was very frustrating. I was doing this between 9:30am and 10:45am this morning. Probably from 9:33 to 9:40am, I didn't have any further problems and then I was done. All other activities since has been working fine.

Hello,

Does the problem happen consistently every day for you at that time? Do you still have the problem when editing 1, or 10, or 20 items at a time instead of 50?

Nathan

I am experiencing this also in Relist - Edit Function 8:30 AM PDT.

Update: Maybe it's a coincidence but I am noticing the biggest delays exactly on the 1/4 hour - 8:30, 8:45, 9:00

Started re-listing about 300 items at 11:45 am PDT and was zipping along until about 12:15 when site slowed down and most re-listing functions are timing out. Could you PLEASE do something about the inconsistancy?

I've been re-listing items for the past few hours and at times it takes forever to save an item. As noted previously by me and others this is an ongoing issue with no resolution seen.
Just got another 'Problem loading page"!!!

Thanks Nathan!
Is Vendio's sight down?
I've just had four "Problem loading page" in a row!
For a pay service this is totally not acceptable.

Hello,

The next time this happens, please perform a traceroute from your computer and send us the results. Please note that this will need to be done while the problem is happening. In order to do this open a DOS prompt on your computer and type the following:

tracert www.vendio.com

Then provide us with the results so that we can pass them along to the engineers.

It would also be helpful if you could provide any exact times when the problem is happening, along with which pages you are on when the problem is happening and what exact steps you are performing.

Regards,
Nathan

How do you perform a tracerout? I am seeing a stall for three minutes in edit function. Tried to save - hit the back button and edit - it took from 5:15 - 5:19 PDT.

I agreed with neglus , site is slow on times like it take time out and after it ok again not only today almost every day have nothing to do with tracerout as all the other sites are fast , your enginers must know about this problem and say nothing ????
special the problem is when we do checkout on items.
this problem is on the east coast and Germany (2 places that i know)

Hello,

Please let us know which operating system you are using so that we can give you the instructions for opening a DOS prompt. Once we have the traceroute we can provide it to the engineers so that they can take a look.

Hello,

In order to open a DOS prompt in Windows 8 please click the Windows key and X key at the same time. This will open the Power User Menu where you can then open the DOS (or command) prompt.

In order to open a DOS prompt in Windows 7 please go the Start menu and then "All Programs". Then select "Accessories" and then "Command Prompt".

Once the command prompt is open enter the following and provide us with the results:

tracert www.vendio.com

Please be sure to do this during the time that you are experiencing slowness.

Regards,
Nathan

11:15 am west coast - trying for past 15 minutes to re-list and page timing out so I can't open. Trying about 22 listings at a time. Will try just a couple and see if that helps. Tried on Firefox and Internet Explorer - both would not open. What's going on?

Got the 22 to open to the re-list panel. Then I edited one and tried to save and its timed out twice. This was supposed to take me around 30 minutes, but at this rate will take me hours to do. Not a happy customer!!!!

Yeah, not working. Will have to walk away and not be able to do my work. If I wanted to list a new item, that appears to be working fine, but its a no-go for trying to re-list. Everything else is working fine, so its got to be you, Vendio. Please do something to correct this problem ASAP.

Hello,

Please let me know if that is still an issue for you at this time. I happen to be working from a remote location outside of Vendio's offices and will test the relist process from your account in a moment to compare times.

Ill report back my findings.

Chris

Hello,

Unfortunately I missed your post in that exact moment, so I can only report back how it's working less than an hour later from your report.

After going to your Post Sale/Unsold items page and selecting 22 listings - I clicked the 'relist' button at the top of the page and the next page loaded in 3 seconds. This next page gives the option to bulk schedule/launch now and/or edit. I didn't move past this page as I think this is the one you were referring to having issues with loading.

Regards,
Chris
