I recently used eBay's markdown manager to put my items on sale at 15% off. However, when they end and I re-list, I wanted them to NOT be on sale anymore. Do I have to manually change each of them back now?? I was hoping that when they ended without a bidder, that Vendio would just put them back to the original cost. Is there a way to do that? Or do I need to just keep them on sale till the time I have them ending on eBay and then I assume they will revert back to the original cost? Why does everything have to be such a pain in the you-know-where?

On further thought, no they won't revert back to the original price as eBay will not acknowledge them as 15% off anymore once they're re-listed. Items that are newly listed are not on sale. So this is definitely a pain since I will have to re-vert everything back to the original price manually. Not happy. Please submit this problem to tech and see if there's anyway that at least the price on re-lists would revert back to the original price in Vendio.

Hello,

If you relist an item through your Vendio account it should relist with whatever price was used when you originally listed it through Vendio (or the revised price if you revise the price in Vendio prior to relisting it through Vendio). Having used eBay's markdown manager for a previous listing should not affect this. If you are relisting items through Vendio and they are relisting with the sale price that you specified on the original eBay listing using eBay's markdown manager, please let us know a specific example where this happened so that we can take a look.

Regards,
Nathan

Nathan:

I just finished manually re-doing all the prices and launching them, but the amounts in the re-list were the MARKED DOWN price, not the original price, so I assume they would launch with that price, correct? If not, it still causes a problem because I use certain prices as ways to know what to edit and it throws me all off with the different amounts listed. If you think it will not launch with the marked down price even though it shows that in the box, let me know.

Hello,

Please let us know the following information so that we can take a look:

1. The original listing number.
2. The original price that you entered into the listing when you created it in Vendio.
3. The sales price that you created for the original listing through eBay's markdown manager.
4. Where exactly you are seeing the lower price (that you entered into eBay's markdown manager) in your Vendio account when relisting the item.

Regards,
Nathan

Well, I'm not sure if you need one that has ended and not been re-listed because I currently don't have any of those. But an example was:

#1 310651508414
#2 Original price was $9.97
#3 Markdown was 15% so in Vendio it showed $8.47
#4 I saw it in the ended auctions and in the re-listing part

That item and all the others were manually marked back up and re-listed. If you would like me to allow one to re-list without manually changing the price, I will.

The sale I created on eBay was to go from about the 11th of April to the 30th of April, but of course, I have items ending in-between those dates. I am not worried about items that end in MAY as they will convert back to the original price. I have talked to eBay and I do have a way to end the sale before they end up in Vendio's closed sales with the reduced price, but I'd prefer that I don't have to worry about it, so that is why I contacted you guys.

Hello,

Yes, please do relist one of the listings without making any manual changes to the price. That would be extremely helpful. Then let us know the original listing number, the new listing number, and the original price (prior to having used eBay's markdown manager on the original listing).

Regards,
Nathan

Ok, I have an example for you:

#310631795361 Original price $35.97, marked down to $30.57

#310652232094 New listing did not revert back to original price and is now $30.57 on eBay with no "markdown" noted.

Nathan, is there any news regarding this problem yet? I've started a new sale and it would be really nice if I didn't have to remember to end the sale on eBay just before the listing ends so I don't have to manually change everything back to the original price on Vendio. Its a real big hassle!
