There is currently no selection for Free shipping from the shipping menu other than Free with Buy It Now or Free if Purchased in Vendio Store. I just want Free to show up in the shipping area when it's live on eBay (with and without a Buy It Now). I've tried to add Free as an option manually in one of the blank areas on the shipping menu but haven't tried to see if it will show up on eBay this way.
You will want to place your free option first in the list of shipping carriers. In the eBay shipping and payment details section you just check a box to make the first selected carrier free for your buyers, as seen here:

Thanks Chris, I found it shortly after I posted the question. So do I need to add any weights or dimensions in the shipping area at all? Does it matter if I select fixed or calculated? Should I just leave the markup area blank? Do I check mark any shipping carriers? Sorry for all the questions...I've never used Free shipping before.
The only thing this checkbox does is make your first listed shipping carrier to eBay show as free, no matter if it's fixed or calculated. You setup everything else exactly the same as you would normally.
You do have to indicate at least one shipping carrier, if it's free or not.

Hi, I listed one item like that and the next one it kept giving my a error in red on the shipping page. I did the exact same thing I believe but I can't list the second item. I checked the box in ebay preferences free for first shipping option. Do I have to do somethng in global preferences? I don't know what happen doing another item.
Please let us know the name of the pending listing where you are having this problem so that we can take a look. If the listing is live but not showing the free shipping options please let us know the eBay listing number, so that we can take a look.

The item I put on is 400647081609 and it went on okay and FREE but with priority mail so my wife changed it to parcel post but it went on FREE and then when Iam trying to put another item on It locks me out and has shipping carriers in red and everytime I hit OK a box comes up warning and brings me back to shipping carriers in red again. I have Free BIN first and parcel post second and priortiy third all checked.

It's working now, not sure what happen I was updating an inventory item and couldn't but all is well now. Thank you and sorry I wasted somebodies time.
