Hey Nathan,
I resized photos for two of my auctions so they meet Ebay requirements but they are still getting bounced back saying photos are too small. They are both in my pending folder. Any ideas? Thanks

Hello,

I took a look at the two pending listings and I do see that the images are large enough to meet eBay's requirements. However, I also am not currently getting any error messages when previewing the listings. Could you please try launching them again and let us know if the problem continues?

Regards,
Nathan

Hello,

Are you launching these from your inventory items? If not, please let us know. If so, please try editing the inventory item and click to edit the eBay Site Specifics. Then in the "Features" section select "Select the first image in listing as the Gallery image" for the "eBay Gallery" field and let us know whether or not the listing launches successfully.

Regards,
Nathan

Hello,

Thank you for the additional information. Instead click the title to edit the pending listing and make this change from the features section of the pending listing (select "Select the first image in listing as the Gallery image" for the "eBay Gallery" field) and let us know the results of launching the listings.

Regards,
Nathan

I had to go into site specific preferences to change that but I did. However the listing still got rejected.

Hello,

Is it okay if we try to launch these for you (as-is for immediate launch)?

Nathan

Hello,

The problem is that the pending listings are still connected with the original listings (where the images were too small). In order to launch the listings that have this problem please schedule the pending listing far out in the future. Then on the pending listings page click the "copy" link to the right of the listing. Then unschedule and delete the original pending listing, and launch the copy instead. I was able to do this successfully with your pending listing "metal New York Yankees Babe Ruth Lou Gehrig signed baseball watch with box" and it has launched as eBay listing number "151261565853". Please let us know should you continue to have trouble with this after following those steps.

Regards,
Nathan

As you may realize Nathan this is much more work for me than just going straight throgh Ebay. Can you tell me what advantages there are to stay with Vendio? Is there any way I can update ALL my inventory so that my Global Site Specifics preferences can apply to all of them. I am trying to figure out a way to stay with Vendio. Please help. Thanks.

Hello,

I am sorry for the problems this is causing you. Unfortunately, it is necessary to take these steps to break the link with the previous listings that were not in compliance with eBay's rules. It is not possible to automatically update all of your inventory items to match your default global preferences, unfortunately.

However, if you are heavily using inventory you might want to consider switching to the Sales Manager Inventory Edition (which was designed for inventory) rather than the Sales Manager Merchandising Edition that you are using currently. The Inventory Edition allows you to bulk edit up to 50 inventory items at a time, and new listings are linked to the inventory item (rather than previous listings). In order to switch to Sales Manager Inventory Edition please go to "My Account" --> "My Service Plans" --> then click the link for "change edition" below "Sales Manager
Merchandising Edition".

Regards,
Nathan
