I'm stumped. Haven't used Vendio or EBay in a few months, and when I looked today at my Vendio control page it has a Red warning paragraph at the top telling me that they are unable to fetch info from ebay and it has probably something to do with my username or password. Nothing has changed in ebay for me that I can remember anyway....can you please tell me how to clear this up?
Thanks for contacting us. eBay implemented the 'token' system to allow third-party providers to securely transmit and receive information from them, enabling us to launch listings and collect information to update our system for you without having to store your eBay credentials. eBay expires the authorization tokens at least once per year, and sometimes randomly as an additional security measure. When this happens you will need to go through the process of updating your eBay ID on our website. We will provide a warning message in your account letting you know when your token has or is about to expire.
To update your eBay token, take the following steps:
- Log in and go to My Account -> Auction Site Accounts
- Click the "edit" link next to your eBay ID
- Click the "Go to eBay Signin" button
- Sign in at eBay, and click the "Agree and Continue" button on the Vendio Services Authorization page
Once you have done this, you will receive confirmation that your account information was saved, and your token will be up-to-date.
Please do let us know if you have any questions/clarifications.
