I get this error message when doing an eBay preview on my auction...Error 37: Input data is invalid.
Input data for tag <Brand> is invalid or missing. Please check API documentation.
I have entered the brand in the top part as well as item specifics from the drop down list where the brand is listed. What am I missing and what is API documentation? It's a used item so I don't have the original packing for the UPC or MPN number. It's the Philips auction at the bottom of my pending listings.

Thank you for writing in. Could you please reply with the full title of the item you are experiencing this issue with so we can take a closer look at it.

I figured it out on my own. Apparently I can't enter a brand at the top if I already have it in the item specifics.

Having the same problem. I will try what the OP has suggested, but obviously this is something that needs to be corrected by Vendio. Also, if you can't put the brand in both places, what about the other info? If I put the UPC code up above and fill in the info at the bottom, will it grab both or not?

Some further comment about the stuff you added at the top is pretty much useless. I believe the only way its useful is if you put NOTHING in the bottom specifics and only put the info in the top, but haven't tested that yet. I know the stuff on top doesn't show in preview but don't know if it shows when launched. There is more info in the bottom specifics so I will ignore the top area since, like I said, it is useless. Please go back to the drawing board. I'm not sure exactly why you added this anyway since you can put the numbers down below.

If you ever actually READ these messages, I have a specific listing that I tried to do and got these messages. I was doing a Foghorn plush and I put the number in the box above, and I placed Warner Brothers as the brand. There was no part number so I left that blank. I did not touch any of the boxes down below. I still got the error message saying that I needed to fill in the Brand. I DID fill in the brand, so what's the problem? By the time you get to this, I will have launched it. Again, I ignored the boxes on the top and filled in boxes down below and added some custom boxes for the brand and number.

Thank you for writing in. We are currently investigating this issue. And will be able to get back to you with more clarity on where the Product Identifier and the Brand information need to be specified. We are currently running tests on this issue.
