I am trying to launch two re-lists which require the identifiers. I have put correct identifiers and they still error. I have tried putting in "Does Not Apply" and it still errors. I do not use the top boxes because they were not working. I will try again after I leave this message, but I am not happy right now.

I managed to launch them but have no idea if they are going to show up in search. I had a Nordstrom's blanket and it would not accept the UPC code I was entering off the tag. I had to put Does Not Apply in the upper box to get that one to launch. It would not launch with Does Not Apply in the bottom box. I also had a 1st Corduroy blanket that would not accept the Brand Name in either the upper or lower box so I put Does Not Apply in the upper box and it launched. Ridiculous! I want ONE set of boxes to fill out and have it work!

I have one now that no matter what I do, I can't get it to launch. Please fix this!

Thank you for writing in. We have added the Brand name under Custom Item Specifics as this was preventing the item from launching. Please do try to launch the item now and it should launch successfully.

Please let us know if you are still facing any issues.

Sunil

If you do an eBay preview of the item (Carter's On the Go bear), you will see that it gives the error message. What has changed?

Thank you for writing in. We looked at the item "Carters ON THE GO Bear Rattle 8" Lovey Plush NEW! Stuffed Animal Toy" and were able to get the item to preview by removing the word "Carter's" from the Brand field in the Item basics section. The Brand information is required only in the Custom Item specifics section. We have the saved the item now.

Please try to launch the item and let us know if you continue having issues with this item.
Regards,
Sunil

I still don't understand the system you are presenting. Item 381321994108 is a new item. I filled out the bottom area which did not have a place to put the MPN. The only thing I could add at the top was the MPN or it would not launch. Item launched but does not show the MPN in the listing. So, again, I ask, what is the point of the area at the top? It is NOT FUNCTIONING!! This needs to be fixed.

Thank you for your reply. The Product Identifier information needs to be in the Item basics section for the listing to qualify for the new eBay requirements for new and branded items. And if you wish for this information to display in the Item specifics section of the listing on eBay it needs to be added under the Custom Item Specifics area of the Create listing for.

Hope this helps, please do reply and let us know if you have any more questions about this.

Regards,
Sunil

Still having problems. I have left one of the items in my pending file for you to view. I ultimately had to launch with "Does Not Apply" in the top box for it to launch. I have the item in hand and entered the UPC code that is on the tag. I entered it in the top boxes as instructed as well as the brand name. It would not launch. I tried every combination of things possible using either the top boxes or bottom boxes and it would not launch. I think some of the problems I've been having is I am not using a UPC code. I've been getting a lot of them off Amazon listings which may be unique identifiers to Amazon, I don't know. But when I started having trouble, I grabbed my actual product and entered the actual UPC codes but I still am having occassional issues. This has been by far the most annoying change that I've faced thus far.

Thank you for writing in. We looked at your item "Henkes LILLY'S PURPLE PURSE 11" Plush Mouse Doll NEW! Merrymakers Stuffed Animal" and this item is failing as the "Brand" details are missing in the items specifics section. Please add the Brand as a Custom Item specific and you should be able to list this item.

Please feel free to reply if you have any more questions.

Sunil

I inadvertently deleted the item described above. Of course, you probably won't be able to help now. 8-(
