I am having trouble getting postcards from Germany to launch.
Here is the message I get:
"Internal Database Failure. The auction data could not be retrieved from the database for Vendio ID 01awch00000000002163923060XX.
12/09/2020 11:30:00 AM US-Pacific Time Zone"
The two most recent ones are:
102320 KIEL GERMANY POSTCARD BAHNHOF TRAIN STATION SCHLESWIG-HOLSTEIN 1904 (FP) (relist eBay # 164522646471, I am changing format from auction to store)
110420 GRUSS AUS KASSEL GERMANY 1899 LITHO POSTCARD (Ebay Item#154177879332 , relaunching as an auction)
This has happened before (also with German postcards mostly) and I have tried launch after launch - all fail. Each time it wipes out the item specifics I have just filled in! Finally, my work around is to start a new listing and copy the old form. Any clue as to what is happening?
Sorry for the trouble! Usually this happens if the data for the original listing is too old and eBay will not recognize it as valid. Please try using the copy option for the pending listing, and then try launching the copy instead. If the copy also fails, please let us know if it is okay if we attempt to launch the pending listing as is for immediate launch (and if so confirm the title of the pending listing).
Please also try re-selecting the correct eBay category for the listing. It is possible the category specifics have changed since the original listing was launched, and if so that could cause issues.

It's fine if you relaunch the auction. These items were originally listed in October and November, so not that old. The date I listed are the numbers at the beginning of the title (I file my postcards in batches and use the date as batch number).

Thanks. I did as you suggested and copied, changed the eBay category and then changed it back and it seemed to work. Perhaps eBay changed the way it maps that category? It may come up again as I have a few unsold listings yet to relist, but at least I know what to do and apparently it works now.
