Can anyone tell me - When creating pending auctions and Active and Closed too I guess, EXACTLY WHAT ORDER do they show up in when looking at the control panel???????? It MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL TO ME. (It is not by name and it is not by date)

Thanks,
Cindy

Hi Cindy26415,

The active auctions are listed based on which one ends the earliest. Pending auctions are listed in the order that you create them, and when you have some scheduled, they are listed based on when they are going to go live to the auction site. Closed auctions are listed starting with the last one that ended.

For each of these sections, you can reverse the order by clicking on the Ended/Scheduled link. I hope this helps!

My Pending DO NOT show in order created. I would like them to be shown that way. Please take a look at them and let me know what I am doing wrong. I created a bunch of just NEW auctions just to see and like usual, it has scattered in no order whatsoever.

Please help,
Cindy

Hi Cindy,

There is no specific order for your unscheduled pending auctions. That is the way the system has been designed. The basic order for Pending goes like this --

1. Unscheduled auctions that you can edit
2. Scheduled auctions, starting from the ones scheduled to launch the earliest
3. Errored out auctions

Let me know if you have any other questions.

So, I guess what we're really after is a way of actually sorting the unscheduled Pending auctions, right?

Is this a possibility?

I know that I would like to have all of the items listed at least alphabetically as opposed to the seemingly random order.

Thanks for the consideration!

How about "Click here for sorting by end time" and "Click here for sorting by alphabet" and "Click here for sorting by number" - like a Mac folder window...
