I WANT an eta on when you will have the problem with AW not picking up closed BIN auctions. 90% of my auctions end this way, and I use AW to automatically send out WBN. One problem.....someone buys an auction with BIN and then they pay with paypal, billpoint, etc, and then 24-48 hours later they get a WBN from me. Makes me look extremely unprofessional and unorganized. Let's get a fix for this, instead of fixing stupid things that aren't broken, like the post sale and the templates. While you are at it offer PSM for dutch auctions. You know, you have alot to offer, but you are also WAY WAY behind alot of other services. I don't want to hear that you will forward this on either, cause I have heard that for months now. I would like a real answer, please!!!!!

Hi corksmom,

We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience -- we are looking at ways to improve the way our system handles BINs. This delay is caused by a system constaint at present.

The only way to prompt these auctions to drop down into the closed list and thereby send out the Winning Bidder Notices is to regularly refresh each page of the active only list on AW.

-click on Active in left tool bar
-click on last page of Active auctions
-click on select all
-click on refresh in top tool bar
-repeat for each active page from last to first

Using this workaround daily will make sure that all your WBNs for BINs are sent out the same day they close.

Callie

Thanks for the reply, but I already use that workaround. I really really need these to go out without me having to do that. When I can't be on my computer for a day or two, the notices do not go, and that is not good business. Please ask your engineers to put this on their list of priority items. It makes me look bad when I have these notices going out 2 days after someone has paid for the item.

Hello,

How about a simple "bulk refresh" button or system that would refresh all the pages at one time?

I suggested that over a month ago, it would be very easy to do..do you care?

Oh I give up.

That would "help" the problem, but wouldn't be a fix. If you are away for the weekend, and have an auction end with BIN, no notice goes out. That is why I use the service for them to go out automatically. Very frustrating. Please expidite this to the top or near the top of things to fix.

Actually I dissagree with Callie -- refreshing does NOT always work. I often have to go page by page to find the auction because only clicking on it will send it to Closed.
