Each time I click on "upload", the picture url disappears!!! Every second click takes away another pic. HELP!!!

Hi Annekila,
What browser are you using? Have you tried to upload pictures using a different browser?

Hi Annekila,
What I meant was, try a different browser. Are you using AOL? I would then suggest trying to upload pictures using Explorer or Netscape. This way, we can determine where the problem is.

Hi Annekila,
It is most likely a problem with your cache.
To clear the cache in Internet Explorer, look under "Tools" in the top menu bar. Open "Internet Options", and the option to clear the cache will appear under "Temporary Internet Files" in the "General" menu. It is always a good idea to clear the History, as well.
In Netscape, look under "Edit" in the top toolbar, and open "Preferences". Click the box next to "Advanced", then "Cache". You will want to clear both the disk and memory cache.

OK..just emptied the cache and the history files. I still can't upload using Explorer.

Hi Thariaczbuffnetnet,
I have deleted your other post so I can answer here.
1. Make sure your images are not too large in kilobytes - occasionally, images that are over 50 kb in size will cause your connection to time out.
2. Upload only one image at a time.
3. Close all unnecessary open applications, and disable any resident programs on your computer (virus-checkers, PIMs) as these use system resources and may interfere with image uploading.
4. Reinstall AOL or try an alternate browser such as Internet Explorer and/or Netscape.
5. If you are using a proxy server to enter the internet, check the proxy settings in your browser to make sure they are valid.

brian... tried all of this... never had trouble until today! natscape wont work either!!!!\

When I sent the e-mail, I copied and pasted the e-mail address from your post -- it seems that there is a problem with your ISP. This may account for your difficulty uploading images.
