I tried earlier this week to provide feedback to an eBay winner of 17 auctions. All of them errored out.
I'm trying again, and they still error out. The message that is displayed is:
<<The Feedback failed to be submitted at the auction site.
The reason for this failure can be seen below:
An unexpected page was retrieved from the host site >>
This appears to be a problem with AuctionWatch software.
Can someone >please< provide me with an "eta" for when this will be corrected?
Because this guy is such a good customer, I'm going to have to manually enter each of these on eBay's site - and I am not at all pleased about how long it is going to take to do that.

Hi kahml,
I'm sorry we missed your post. I have tested the feedback mechanism from my own account, and did not encounter the problem you have outlined. Would you mind emailing [email protected] to let me know which auctions are resulting in this (please send only those for which you wish to leave positive feedback) so that I can test from here?

SAME PROBLEMS HERE, AND NOW WITH ESAFE2BID DOWN ALSO, THIS IS A REAL HASSLE. It's probably some new setting with eBay that AW has not been made aware of yet, at least that is what eSafe2bid says is their problem.

Hello,
I also went in to test this, and was able to leave feedback to a buyer of an auction of mine that was won on 9/07. There was no error message on our side, and upon checking the buyers rating my feedback posted right away.

Althought I have not had a problem in the last 3-4 days, when I DO have this problem, it is very sporadic. That could be why your one item test didn't show an error.
Last week it seems I could only leave one feedback for every 6-8 I tried. Lately, however, the feedback system has seemd to work ok, even when leaving multiple feedbacks for the same buyer. Go figure.

Boy, but this thread has gotten big.
Here's what I sent Diana:
<<
Diana, thanks for getting back to me re: http://www.auctionwatch.com/mesg/read.html?num=15&thread=59518
But - I went directly to eBay and entered the feedback manually and then checked off the boxes in PSM.
I mean, this guy had won 17 books over three weeks - I had to do something to indicate that I appreciated his business, and didn't want to wait for a "fix."
Thanks for your help. If this happens again I will be sure to let you know.

Needless to say, it hasn't happened to the few folks who have won auctions during the past few days - so I don't know what else to say.
