I've just seen the notice about the increase in the auction listing fees (for the first 50 auctions per month).

Since you are going to be generating at least some new revenue from this, do you think you could implement some of the recommendations for improvements that you've received in the past two months?

I know that I've sent in several, and can easily figure at least a dozen other folks who have provided some very valuable suggestions for making AW something that is more professional a product and easier to work with.

Thanks!

Hi kahml,

We are always working on ways in which to improve our services, and customer feedback is one of the most valuable sources of information pertaining to potential changes and/or upgrades.

We do appreciate your suggestions!

Diana

It is my suspicion that with last weeks Layoffs at AW that there aren't going to be many new enhancements and that things may take a bit longer to change.

For the life of me I can't understand how a company would think that a price increase at a time when they have so many customer complaining would be the right thing to do.

If feeback is your most important tool in providing enhancements - why do we still not have the ability to post sale manage dutch auctions? Why must we fumble around refreshing 10 times a day to get our buy it now auctions to show they have actually ended? I can log on any day at any given time and see someone asking for these enhancments. I have been asking for them for months and am always told they will be coming.

Well, I have gone thru 2 price increases and still don't have some very important tools. Your new price increase will cost me an additional over 1000.00 a year. I just can't justify this. I would understand an increase in the power plan, but when you are charging 1.25% FVF with no cap on the total that is too expensive for something that only provides half of the service we need. Unless you change this pricing plan to include a cap on the FVF, I will move my service. I think charging a % of the final value is crazy. What difference does it make to auctionwatch if an item sells for $5.00 or $500.00. You provide the same service for both auctions, yet take a large chunk of our profit. You will take 7 cents for the 5.00 auction and 6.25 for the $500 auction. Plus the listing fee. By the way I think your listing fees are in line. I think that is all you should be charging is a listing fee (of course, you could increase it) and a standard yearly rate. This was not a very well thought out increase on your part.

corksmom:

Who says they think at all?

With monthly changes that generally remove useful features and add useless ones. No "suggestions" that I have given or seen posted are actually used. Service quality decreasing daily and customer service, don't get me started...

Think? Or maybe is it listen?

Who runs this company anyway?
Truly a shame this company could be the PayPal or it's industry and instead it is the C2it.

I too am balking at the FVF. I was one of the few who thought the initial existing power plan was fairly priced (the convincing aspect for me is your image hosting). Many of the other features are really nice, but not indispensable. I will regretfully, but seriously, be considering alternatives if these new payment structures remain.

Back the U-haul up it is time to move. The best thing about this HUGE increase is that I have 6 months this time to pack.
