You are NOT alone...I cannot get them to send out either. My professionalism is on hold. Looks as if I am ingnoring the high bidders of last nights auctions. FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!

My WBN are not sending, even with manual 'click send'. Yet another annoyance along with those ASININE POP-UP and POP-UNDER ADS and RIDICULOUS FEE INCREASES.
!!!AW worked much better WHEN IT WAS FREE!!!

Hi gsomervillhotmailcom,
That is correct, you will be unable to send anything through the system currently until this issue is resolved. It appears to be effecting only our hotmail users (users with a hotmail account as their primary address), and engineering will continue working on this until we have a resolution.
As soon as we have an update available, we will post it back to this thread.

Now the 'one click send' for to inform the bidder that shipment has been made does not work either. I have to do all this manually, as well. So this is where all the extra money goes?? to crappier service??
I know that y'all are working on this, but WHEN WILL IT BE FIXED? Or should I just switch to another auction service now and forget about your increased fees and increased problems?

Hi CAPTZIPZAP,
It appears to be a problem not on our or Hotmails end, rather the connection between the two and it is still being addressed.
The problem is going to be fixed as soon as it possibly can, we are unable to give ETA's on issues like these.

When I click to manually send notices whether it be WBN or shipment notices, if the box gets checked off as blue does this mean the notice was actually sent. I have some that appear as if they were sent, is there a way I can determine if indeed they were? I don't like to just guess at it here. Thanks, in advance, for your response.

Hi Gsomervillhotmailcom,
We are still working on a resolution. The problem seems to be coming directly from hotmail, not from any of our systems.

Nearly 24 hours since the beginning of this problem and no reply from AW in 18 hours.
And to add to it posts take 90 seconds to log after clicking the button.

Oh I see, it must be Hotmail's problem. It couldn't possibly be AW's. They never have problems at AW. I'm sure it's some kind of vast Hotmail conspiracy to deny AW users from sending WBN's.

The problem with Hotmail has been resolved. You should now be able to send out your WBN's.

Hi!
I've just encountered a WBN not being sent to high bidder - I use hotmail, they use aol. Seems that per postings, problem has been fixed, but maybe not. I ran across similar situation last spring (last time I was running auctions) and ended up with a knee-jerk negative over it!!!
See auction #1016231464, WBN appeared to have been sent 10/16, but wasn't.
Is this problem unique to hotmail/aol connection?
Please advise, thanks in advance!

Hi Dee,
This is actualy unrelated to the issue mentioned above. Our records show that the WBN was sent, on 2001-10-15, and that is even indicated in the post sale details.
Are you set up to get a CC and did not? The system does show that the indicated highest bidder was sent the notice, if they have contacted you for information you can click on the PSM keys next to that item and click to send the WBN again. Verify that the email address they wrote you from (if they did) is the same the system picked up from eBay as their primary address.

Thank you for the quick response, Christopher!
Yes, I got a copy of the WBN, the bidder says he got nothing from me (the post sale details updated normally, along with some other auctions ending same day). The e-mail address they contacted me with is same as one on AW and ebay...
maybe he's just confused.... I'll followup with him.... thanks!
