I have been trying without success to edit text in one of my auctions listed, and also now trying to change some text in two more..based on new information about the items......I keep getting that page cannot be found, and then a page that says I have not put in all information......what gives???? I have been doing this for two years, and have never had a problem before...is there some new thing I am not aware of? I really need to change this stuff before there is a bid....

It seems that eBay does have problems with certain Internet Explorer browser versions. Lately, those folks who have upgraded from 5.x to 6.x say they haven't had any problems; that's not so with me.

I had this problem a couple of weeks ago - 10 auctions in need of revision and nothing worked - so I researched the eBay forums. Most were suggesting that people could try Netscape and see if that would do. For me, that was not an option.

But - there is a browser - Opera - that will let me revise these eBay auctions without any problems. It is a small, inobtrusive (and kinda nifty) browser.

You can download it from www.opera.com. If you don't need the Java VM, the download takes a minute.

Hope that helps!

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, the only way to revise an active auction is directly through eBay, using their Revise Auction form. If you continue to have trouble revising, try an alternate browser (as already suggested by Kahml) and if that does not help, you may want to contact eBay's customer support to let them know you are unable to revise.
