I have one auction that I have many duplicates in which I will be paying for shipping...that I will be listing each time one is sold so I will be making a copy and keeping it in my pending list. My question is because 99% of my other auctions have the buyer paying for shipping and I state that in my default text, how can I change just one auction to state "seller pays shipping" and have the rest stay at "buyer pays shipping"? I just launched one by changing the default text and now I will be changing it back to "buyer pays shipping". I already launched one this past week and had to go to eBay and "revise". I would do this all the time but eBay's revise page doesn't work with the PayPal smart logo so I have to take out the smart logo first before the revise will work then I really can't put it back in manually. I was hoping that I could just copy this auction with all the information that I want and the rest of my auctions would stay the same.

Hi idnyc,
Since the saved default text will appear in all auctions launched from Auction Manager, the only workaround for this would be to change the default text prior to launching the auctions. I realize this is an inconvenient workaround, but perhaps if you format your default text so that it can be easily changed it will help.
Sorry about that. I will log this as a potential future improvement.

Maybe the default text should be added to the create listing page to view at all times just for that special occasion like I mentioned previously, for a quick change of some sentences on certain auctions (and for adding shipping charges that vary between items).

We occasionally pay the shipping on an item, and rather than change the default for those, we just put in BIG BOLD LETTERS at the beginning of the auction that we'll pay shipping on this auction. It's never caused a problem.
However, if we were going to list a bunch that way, we'd change the default, get all those auctions launched, and then go back and re-insert the regular text (by pasting it back in from a saved document) and be back to business as usual.
Don't know if that helps you, but it's been OK for us.
