Hi,
Maybe it has been discussed before, I havn't found it. My real concern with the Ebay Checkout is that the WBN will no longer be filled out by the customer, creating more work for the seller if we continue to use the Post Sale Management. My first large batch of auctions that will be affected by this will end Monday evening. I have had two Buy It Now auctions that have ended since Checkout was implemented. Both times the customer did not bother to fill out the WBN since of course its much easier for them to simple use the Ebay checkout. One of those auctions I receive an email through Ebay asking me to fill in the shipping cost and other things because the customer requested this. So the way I'm looking at this is most likely the customers are not going to bother with WBN forms. Therefore we have to edit every WBN manually if we want to follow through with the rest of the post management services and to have a record at AW for that customer. On top of that we will be receiving requests for shipping information from any customer who wants an invoice through Checkout. Does anyone else think that this is simply going to reduce the need for WBNs' , and then what? I like having those post sales keys, at a glance you can tell who has responded, who has paid, what has shipped, etc. But at the time cost of having to manually edit each one?? Anyone have thoughts or comments about this?
