I just recently registered with Yahoo to list and when I then went to register Yahoo as a new account from Auctionwatch it won't let me. I filled in all the boxes to do this and then it says registration failed so then I can't proceed. I have contacted Auctionwatch support several times and they were trying to help. I removed the registration to sart over and I keep getting the same thing. What did I do wrong ?

Where it says user id I put in my Yahoo Id and where it says password I used my Yahoo password then all the other info they ask for. When I go to check my account it shows that it is activated but when I try to create a Yahoo listing It won't go through.

Any Ideas anyone ?

Sandy

Hi Sandy,

Did you try adding your Yahoo ID through the Register New Accounts link, or through the Store Existing Accounts link? Since you already have a Yahoo ID you need to go through Store Existing Accounts. Let me know if this works.

Yes, I put in my Yahoo ID and password. I also tried to store the account but it still didn't work.

Hi Sandy,

I have placed your Yahoo ID into your account. Now all you need to do is go to Universal Registration and click Edit next to your Yahoo ID, and store your password and email address for that account. If you continue to have trouble listing after this, please let me know.

Hi Sonya,

Boy, I have really fouled up now. Before I saw your last reply to me I went in and removed both eBay and Yahoo accounts. I guess I am not understanding how to do this.
I have to start all over again.

Hi Sandy,

I have moved your Yahoo ID for you. Now, go to Universal Registration and click Edit for your Yahoo ID. You can store your password and email for Yahoo there -- if you cannot list after doing this, post back and let me know.

Sonya,

Thanks, that worked. I appreciate all of your help on this. Auctionwatch has great support. I love getting help with a real person instead of being directed elsewhere.

Thanks Again

Sandy
