Once an auction has been launched and is active, any editing must be done directly from the auction site. You should find an edit or revise option under seller services, which will allow you to either edit your auction or add to the description. Most auction sites will not allow you to make changes to the item description once there is a bid on the auction, but you should be able to add to the description.
If you need further assistance with editing your active auction, please contact the Customer Service department of the auction site. For future auctions, you should utilize the "preview" feature in Auction Manager in order to ensure that your description is correct before you launch the auction.
