I launched an auction thru auctionmanager pro. I realized the pictures were too dark, so I retook photo's and uploaded them to auctionwatch. I used the old method to attach these photo's to my auction and at the end it said they were successfully added. When I go in and view the auction, I don't see the added photo's......which usually appear at the bottom.....nothing shows up....I hate to re-add and end up for doubles later on......Can someone help me with this?

Hi Nanasturtles,

It does not look like the images went through to your listing. Please try to attach them again. If you end up with doubles you can always put in a refund request.

Thanks Sonya, I will try it again. I am signed up on the standard plan and use auctionmanager pro to launch my auctions and auctionwatch to relist. I know that the fee structure has changed somewhat, can you explain exactly what I am being charged now....am I being charged a per auction photo fee when I add photos to my auctions and exactly what is the fee. I only list about 125 auctions a month and am hoping with the changes that the "standard" fee is the best value still for me but really am not sure.....

Hi Nanasturtles,

The standard plan did not get changed when we added the premium pricing plans. The best way to determine which plan is better for you is to review them at the following URL:

http://www.auctionwatch.com/business/solutions/new_pricing.html

The image host fees are 10 cents per image per auction, and for each additional image in an auction it is 4 cents. So two images would be 14 cents. Let me know if you have any other questions.

According to the link you sent, it says that the .10 per image per auction and .04 per image after that is NOT for those of us using AuctionManagerpro and auctionwatch for relists......Those using auctionmanagerpro and utilizing auctionwatch for relists would fall under the .10 per auction catagory for imaging......is that correct? as that is how I read it......I am under the standard plan and use the bulk lister as well as AW to reslist but have had to contact AW numerous times for separate image fee's showing up on my account....Is this going to be an ongoing thing I am going to have to watch my account for? Also, I wish to have you pass on to however........when asking for a non paying bidder credit, you ask for the reference number of the item which is located in our accounts next to the actual auction ID number.......to make requesting refunds more time efficient for your users, can you install a "search" button at the top of the account page that would allow us to type in the number of the auction ID so that locating the "reference number" you require would be so much less time consuming to locate? To find the reference numbers, users are having to take up so much time to sift through the account listings to find it.......This would be a much appreciated addition and has been complained about on the boards........hope you will pass this on and we can see this change in the near future or instead of asking for the reference number, if AW would just ask for the auction number, that would be the other alternative that would help also. Please pass this on to whom it needs to be noticed by........

Hi Nanasturtles,

If you are attaching your images to your auctions in any other way that isn't the Attach Image feature in your auction, you will be charged an image hosting fee. I got a little confused by your first question so if this doesn't help to answer it, please let me know.

I will pass on your suggestion for a search field on the statements page.

My images are only attached when I upload my auctions from Auction Manager Pro.....today's adding of an image after an auction has been launched was a rarity. So my concern was why have I seen repeated separate image hosting fee's on my billing statement for auctions that were uploaded thru auctionwatch, when it doesn't appear there should be separate image fee's charged only for those users NOT using auctionwatch or auctionmanager pro for creating and listing auctions, but rather just using the image hosting service. I just am finding that I am having to monitor the charges on my account more closely now which is probably always a good idea, but not one that I have found I have had to do so frequently in light of being charged separate image hosting fee's by mistake for some reason.

Hi Nanasturtles,

You can also be charged an image hosting fee if you had to import the auction into your AW account at some point in time. I had forgotten to mention this earlier. If you feel that the charges were erroneous, you may request a refund through our refund request form, available at this URL:

https://secure.auctionwatch.com/my/acct/request_refund.html

The URL can be found on our site by clicking the "Got questions about this statement?" link on your statement. We will be handling refunds on a case-by-case basis, so please be as clear and concise in detailing the problem as possible.
