I'm confused. I've been having a lot of deadbeats and I know how to get FVF back from ebay but was unsure how to do it here on AW. I found it through the AW help area but am now confused.

The first step says: "Please enter the Ref ID for the item you wish to refund. The Ref ID can be found in the left hand column of your statement."

Is this ref ID for the AW statement or my ebay statement? The ref ID on my ebay statement is also in the left hand column! Please help.

Hi Antelope67,

In the event of a non-paying bidder, you may request a refund of the final value
fee (please be aware that the listing fee is not refundable.) In order to qualify for the refund, you will need to provide proof from the auction site that you had a non-paying bidder to get a refund to your account.

As proof, we will accept a copy and paste of the line item from your eBay statement, showing the refund from eBay. You may copy and paste it directly into the text field in the refund request form, available at:

https://secure.auctionwatch.com/my/acct/request_refund.html

Please note that you must be logged in to access this form.

That really didn't answer my question. I already know I have to be logged in (I am logged in now or else I couldn't post this message) and as for the copy/paste there is no place on that link to put ALL of that line. It only asks for the ref ID!!! My original question that I would still like answered is:

Is this ref ID that it is asking for, for the AW statement or my ebay statement?

Hi Antelope67,

I apologize for not answering your original question. The reference ID number that is asked for is the one on your AW statement.
