Hi,
For some reason, I am getting inquires from my Customers about shipping/payment via AW. I am having to send separate notifications to each buyer. Why is the automatic WBN's not being sent. I have never had this problem before. It is alot of extra work. Am I the only person having this problem? Please help!
Kind Regards,
Robert

Hi Shadowwand,
Auctions which have the Auto WBN feature selected might not go out to your customers for the following reasons:
1. The auction may have closed using Buy It Now, and the close has not been triggered in our system. In order to correct this, please log on to your account, and refresh your control panel using the blue refresh button. If you have Buy It Now auctions that are located on subsequent pages of your active auctions list, please try paging through your list.
2. We may be experiencing a system problem. Please check our Announcements board and Message Center forum for updates.
3. eBay may be having a technical problem that is preventing us from accessing winning bidder email addresses. Please check back in a few hours, and let us know if the WBNs still have not gone out.
-Brian

Brian,
I am not using Buy It Now on any of my Auctions. I truly believe AW is experiencing alot of system problems. After reading some of the inquires directed at AW after the maintence was done on 4 NOV. Someone must have been new or not paying attention to detail.
Kind Regards,
Robert

Hi Robert,
Is this happening for all of your closed auctions or just for some of them? I checked your account and WBNs were sent out to all the auctions in closed, so if this happens again please let me know the auction ID numbers.

Hi Robert:
I have had similar problems in the past. I know that AW does not send WBNs for Dutch Auctions...could this be the reason?
Also, I have had customers that didn't regcognize the WBN as a notification from the (the seller), so I went into the notification (you just have to do this once)and personalized it, added instructions..so they would recognize my name a little better. Customers can be so funny sometimes..what seems obvious to me just eludes some of them.
Good luck...jzwarren

i had about 100 auctions end last night
...all had check mark as usual to send wbn out automatically. i received back copies of about 75-80 % . below are a few numbers that are marked in my closed auction page as having had the notice sent - box #1 is blue - but i have no copy sent back to my email system and i am going to do them manually.
(i have deleted the others for i can't keep that quantity of closed auctions in my auction mgt system or gets all confusing with the large quantity that i do (all i use aw for is images, am pro and wbn!)
this is the first week of so many not going out- i have had requests from the ebay auction site for payment info and time wise after they should have received the wbn ?! maybe more are not getting there - even though i have copy back?!
# 1481537089 jane fonda tape
# 1481540097 3 books
#1027574121 cigar book
# 1027564411 13 disney books
# 1658497904 grinch
# 1481528576 eloise book
are just a few
this is a big problem!
i thought you finally had this fixed
thanks for help

PLEASE READ- why i and others bother to write for help when obviously there is a problem !!!!!!!!!
you did not answer the question !!!
i did NOT (100% confirmed) get a copy back of all the wbn notices that were supposedly sent - and i am getting far too many checkout questions -so obviously they are not getting the email EITHER!!!!
i gave you the info - look into it - i don't need to seem stupid and unprofessional as well as aw - by asking the customers which email they received
for they have now gotten then since i have done it myself thru ebay and using their email address

Hi Stacyp,
Out of the 100 that closed, did they all close at the same time or at different times? Have you had any indication yet that the winners of the auctions you posted above received the WBN? We are currently looking into this problem, and this information will help us.

I wanted to return to using WBNS after doing it manually for quite awhile. I disabled the feature in my preferences and did it manually by doing an ebay seller search on myself and copying and pasting the appropriate information to my winning bidders. The feature was just too unreliable and there was no pattern I could figure out. I just figured that after a year that the condition would have been corrected, but I guess not.
The auctions I had trouble with
1) did not end with buy it now
2) ended at the same time
3) were launched with Auction Manager
Is there a feature in Auction Manager Pro that is any more reliable? I really don't care to go back and forth with anyone on whose fault this is. Other services can provide this feature. What I would like to know is what progress you have made in solving the problem. Maybe it would help me to work around the problem.
Thanks for your time
Tom

I am also having problems with WBN's not going out and I don't even use the automatice feature!!! Out of 13 auctions I sent WBN's to yesterday, only 6 got actually sent. I know this because I have a copy of them sent to my email and I only got 6. I get copies as AW has had so many problems with WBN's I just don't trust it anymore the copies have served me well here!
The remaining 7 auctions did not get anything at all from what I can tell from the emails I'm getting from them. All the #1 boxes have turned blue as if they were all sent. Please advise.

Mine have not been getting them for about a month. They don't go through when I manually try to send another either. Yet they all look like they went out and address are there. Must respond to each with address and other information.

Dear, Auction Watch
E-mailing Thousands of your customers as to the persistant problems auction watch experences might yeild seveal thousand customers to switch to other competitors.
I must say on the behalf of ALL of your customers who use Auction Manager PLEASE fix the WBN problem . If they are being sent and the web program does not show it, there is a Programming error. If they are not being sent and they also are not showing up as sent in the web auction manager then there is a programming error.Regardless auction are closing and we rely on a PAYED service to notify our winning bidders. It is not up to us to fix this probmlem. It is up to you. If the problem persist I will notify those thousands if customers, because it isn't any different for me to have to e-mail thousands of winning bidders (which is auction managers job)as it is to e-mail your thousands of customers.
Sincerely,
Hoping Auction Watch gets the message before it's customers do!

still no reply from auction watch- hmmmmm! makes me wonder!
only services i use are listing with image via pro and wbn -these are the ONLY reasons i PAY to use AW - would you like to keep us paying customers ? seems like your attention to this major ONGOING UNRESOLVED issue that you just don't care to fix the problem-
look what is happening to ebay and paypal - trying hard to keep customers going to billpoint and yahoo - do you want the same to happen to you guys?
and if you are bought out by another company or go out of business- what will happen when you don't have a job- maybe then you will realize that these issues were important
sorry to be hard -but enough is enough- i am loosing sales and risk negative feedback when i think people are getting wbn and they are not! and they think i am just not responding to end of auction- not good!

Hi Shadowwand,
A lot of customers are complaining that WBN are sent only for some of thier clients. Although this might be true, you may however test if a WBN is sent or not from AW. Simply go to MyAcct, click PsotSaleMgtOptions, and select the checkbox near "Check here to receive a copy of all your Winning Bidder Notification e-mails" (the 3-rd line on the screen). This way every time we send a WBN mail to one of your clients, a copy will be sent to you.
Hope this helps,
Marius

SORRY , answer not acceptable AW-this problem has been ongoing for some time now- i have checked off to receive back a copy and sometimes i don't get copy but a customer of mine might and othertimes they might get a copy and i don't or neither of get a copy- i have it checked off in my preferences properly - so that is not the answer
your system has a problem that you have admitted to and have escalated to engineering-yet no fix to problem or true email to us all waiting - the wbn problem inconsistency is a BIG PROBLEM for most of aw users- that is what we pay you for!

Hi Stacyp and Alwaysteatime,
I have deleted your posts as they do not pertain to the issue at hand. We realize that you are frustrated with the inconsistency of the WBNs and would like to ask you to keep responses such as those in the feedback forum. Our engineering team is working on improving this problem -- we are not ignoring you or your requests nor are we placing the blame on you. We ask questions each time this issue is reported to look for consistencies that will help to determine where the problem lies, as a lot of the time it has to do with the email client of the winners. Please be assured we are working on resolving this problem as quickly as possible.

WOW!!!
SoynaAW , If I would have recieved a resopnse like that ALONG with the questions you needed to know for Tech. purposes I would truly praise your customer service.
TO HELP YOU: I had a wrong e-mail address as my e-mail address in the AW personal prefrences. if read .net and it was supose to be .com , i changed it just because it was wrong. But I tried to send my WBN's again right after the change and guess what ----- It worked . It sent my WBN's to my customers. Now I don't know if I was the cause of my problem but I do know that others out there still need help. And I thank you for the kind posting letting us know that you care.

when will this finally be fixed?! i switched to paypal's notification, but people complain it's hard to read, so i switch back to AW and the first night i have major problems. i manually had to send them out, because the auctions weren't listed with that option. so, i go to it and check all 50 boxes on the page and six times i get timed out when i click on the send button. i kept doing it because none of the boxes as filled in blue to indicate they had been sent, but not much later i get an angry email from someone who got six emails from me. today i get one from somebody who says he didn't get one. what gives? of course, you can look at somebody below's account and they all show sent. we all think all the notices went out because every box #1 is filled in. but, then i get four or five emails saying i was never heard from! perhaps a moot point as i won't make any sales next tuesday anyway because my images won't "synchronize" tonight.
