Someone just filled in their address in the WBN and when I viewed it they did NOT abbreviate South Carolina as SC and I know that when I use AW to do the shipping label it will put the zip code underneath the city instead of to the right of the state. Last time I tried editing it would not let me in unless I unchecked it and then clicked edit WBN. So that is what I did but when I clicked edit ALL info (address and note) is GONE!!! Now I have to email him and tell him what happened. What can I do to prevent this from happening in the future? I already sent in a recommendation to you concerning the state on the WBN that it should ONLY accept 2 letters for the abbreviation. So far you haven't done anything about this. No matter how I set things up, it will put the zip under the city instead of to the right of the state whenever they don't abbreviate the state even when the preview page looks correct, it will print incorrectly. The PO absolutely has conniptions over this.

I had just emailed the high bidder to request his address again and explained what had happened. It made me look stupid. He just replied via email with his address and so I went back to that auction in AW and pressed the edit WBN button and now all the previous info that had disappeared is now BACK!!! I wonder what happened? So I abbreviated the state.

Another situation is with the zip code. I have had this happen a few times where people either put 4 numbers instead of 5 or they put 6 numbers instead of 5 and it goes unnoticed until I get to the post office and sometimes people put down the wrong city in their address (I don't have time to count the digits in the zip codes of all packages going out and how am I supposed to know whether they put down the correct city or not). When the person at the PO goes to put the zip in their computer they notice it and accuse ME of not doing the address right! Actually, the guy at the post office said that most of the people that come in there don't even know where they live! I don't get it.

Hi there antelope67,

I'm glad to hear that everything worked out in the end (sort of!) We are logging suggestions, and I'll make sure that yours get passed along.

I am not sure why the WBN info disappeared the first time you tried to edit - the only thing I can think is that maybe it was a cached page you were looking at. If that happens again, try clearing your browser cache.

Sorry for the frustrations...

Diana
