I had 6 auctions close last night and none of them were sent WBN's. When I tried to go in and manually send them through "1-click send" they still wouldn't go through and I recieved an error message telling me to try back later. I've been trying for 12 hours! Please---get this working!

Hi Alwaysteatime,

I would like to try to send the WBN from my end, can you give me an auction ID number for one of your closed auctions where I can try to send?

On my WBN's they are being sent with the buyers ebay i.d. in the Last Name column. Certainly, this is not a new "feature".

Sonya,

The ID # 1661816152

I have tried to send this from another computer with a different isp, the result was the same, I have checked the message center for some time now. It seems that customers have been experincing this problem for over a year now. Auction Watch CEO's should take note that my future postings will reflect the customer service recieved in this matter.

Hello jalleniii,

We are aware of the problem you've outlined, and we will fix it as soon as we can. Thank you for your patience!

Hello alwaysteatime,

If you tried this from an alternate ISP, were you using the same email address (hotmail address?) We had some trouble with hotmail about a month ago, and will have to check into why this is happening now. If you have an alternate email address, you could try updating your preferences and resending the WBNs as a potential workaround. Please let us know what happens, and we will continue to look at this (please note that due to the holiday, response time may be delayed.)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Diana

There is another thread but you have not been answering back to that one all week!!- I am not a hotmail address and mine are not consistently going out-some yes because money is coming thru paypal etc-others have sent checkout requests thru ebay obviously indicating that they did not get the wbn that all my auctions are programmed to automatically receive-that is what i pay AW to do for me! Not for me to get non payers and negative feedback because my high bidders think that i did not respond after the auction closed.
Thanks for prompt attention - this is a VERY sore spot rightfully so for many of us for A LONG time now!

Hi Alwaysteatime,

A lot of customers are complaining that WBN are sent only for some of thier clients. Although this might be true, you may however test if a WBN is sent or not from AW. Simply go to MyAcct, click PostSaleMgtOptions, and select the checkbox near "Check here to receive a copy of all your Winning Bidder Notification e-mails" (the 3-rd line on the screen). This way every time we send a WBN mail to one of your clients, a copy will be sent to you.

Hope this helps,
Marius

SORRY , answer not acceptable AW-this problem has been ongoing for some time now- i have checked off to receive back a copy and sometimes i don't get copy but a customer of mine might and othertimes they might get a copy and i don't or neither of get a copy- i have it checked off in my preferences properly - so that is not the answer

your system has a problem that you have admitted to and have escalated to engineering-yet no fix to problem or true email to us all waiting - the wbn problem inconsistency is a BIG PROBLEM for most of aw users- that is what we pay you for!

mgarbea, what kind of an answer is that? People aren't complaining just to see their names in print---they are complaining because AW has a demonstrated issue that goes back two months with failure to fulfill its obligation to provide the service for which contracted! Your users are not guniea pigs to test your system - you should be doing that and promptly implementing the necessary repairs. Time for meffle to come in here and responsibly explain how this acute and continuing problem is directly tied to getting people to believe that AW can support the cost and ills of the plans so carefully worked out.

Hi Litteraire,

As I posted in a previous thread, we ask questions each time this issue is reported to look for consistencies that will help to determine where the problem lies, as a lot of the time it has to do with the email client of the winners. Please be assured we are working on resolving this problem as quickly as possible. We realize that this is an inconvneinece for you and that it has gone on for a while now but engineering is working on fixing the problem.
