You used to have a box on the templates page so that you could click on a new template and change it to the default one. I don't see it anymore and I didn't see it in the preferences section. How do I change my default template?

Hello,

When you click on the 'customize template' button either in the create auction form, or in your eBay site specifics area - just place a bullet under the template you want to make your default one and click on the 'continue' button.

That will automatically make that template your default one.

Let us know if you have any questions.

I tried what you said - I was filling out a new auction form, clicked on customize templates, put a bullet on the right side (saved templates) under one of my templates, and clicked contine at the bottom of the page. I finished with that one and then started a new auction, and it defaulted back to the previous one. What am I doing wrong? Why couldn't you just leave the box that indicated "default" so it would be clearer?

Hi Toyspast,

Unfortunately you can only select your default template from eBay Site Specifics. You will need to select the one you want to use, hit the Continue button, then click on Save Preferences.

Thanks, Sonja. Tell Christoper he didn't word his answer correctly in his answer to me earlier. He said you could change the default in the create auction form. Make sure he knows the correct answer for other people as confused as me....8-)
