I have been using auctionwatch image hosting for quite a while, but for some reason, whenever I insert my pictures in the auction, they come out in the small frame now with the click for larger view option. But I want my pictures to show fullsize, as this is important for selling. Can anyone advise me on this?

Hey AW - this question is asked at least every other week.

Why don't you update the IMAGE HOSTING FAQ to include the question and the appropriate response?

BTW, here's the answer:

- Go to "My Account" tab

- Select "Global Preferences" option

- Scroll down to "Auction Listing Options"

- Remove check from "Automatically scale down large images for faster download and cleaner presentation"

- Click "Save Preferences" button.

Note: I'm not sure if this retroactively corrects any auctions that you have already built (that would be up to AW to tell you).

Hi Truelighth,

I just wanted to add to Kahml's post and let you know that currently running auctions will be unaffected by the image size preference change.

Kahml -- thank you for pointing that out to me, I will see about getting it added to the FAQ.

Thanks Kahml en Sonya for your answers. I hadn't launched my auctions yet, but when I was setting them up, I noticed the different format. And Kahml, you must be right that the question is asked every week, because after sending this message I browsed through the old messages and found the same answer there that you gave me. So I managed to change my preferences and launch my auctions the way I wanted to.
