FYI: When editing my shipping status notification for John Doe, I found it defaulted to all closed auctions from then on, even though I did the editing on John Doe's notification only. Beware! You must re-edit after you send it to John Doe unless you want every closed auction to state what John Doe's states-- for it defaults to the post sale management shipping status notification for everyone. This happened to me and I learned the hard way. I hope I have saved someone the embarressment that I went through, plus time and trouble to explain to the other customers that received it in error.

Hi ramabele,

You are right: all post sale notifications are considered global preferences (apply immediatelly, for all listings). That's why we provided some comonly used substitution variables, such as %%Winner%% (substituted with John Doe for the listing bought by John!).
Notice that the above applies for all settings in MyAccount, unless overriden in the actual listing (e.g. eBay specifics category may be overriden in the actual listing).

Hope this helped,
Marius
