In seller's preferences, I delete the listing description default , put in the new text and hit save.
When the page returns the old text is still there.???????
Bad enough not to be able to have separate ones for eBay and Yahoo

Hi Acry,
Unfortunately we cannot provide for different Default Listing Text for each venue. As stated in Global Preferences page, "The text listed in this box will be added to the end of your auction listing description.". This is a global text and applies for any of your listing regardless if you list it at eBay, Yahoo or Amazon.

Hi Marius
Yes, I already know that, but do you have a suggestion for the first part of my question?
The problem with the 'save change' not working?

Oh come on!
>>Everyone<< should know the drill by now:
"clear your cache, reboot your machine, use another browser, rotate your chair three times to the right (only if it's not Tuesday) and wait two or three minutes, otherwise we'll send it to engineering..."

Is there an allotment of one blue box per question?
Thanks for your speedy reply to a question I didn't ask...but what about the one I did ask?
Actually, kahml isn't too far off. You are probably seeing a cached version of the global preferences page. Clear your cache, and if you are still having problems let us know what text you would like appear and we can enter it for you and try to find a solution.
