1- WHY DO YOU NOT PROVIDE A CHECK BOX TO REMAIN SIGNED-IN? EVERY MAJOR PASSWORD PROTECTED SITE HAS THIS FEATURE - IE 5 ON THE MAC DROPS THE COOKIE WITHIN MINUTES IF NOT USED

2- OFOTO (THE PHOTO SERVICE) HAS A GREAT BULK UPLOADED APPLICATION FOR MAC. CAN YOU LICENSE IT? CAN YOU BUILD ONE - YOU IGNORE YOUR MAC USERS TO THE POINT OF INCREDIBLE FRUSTRATION

Good luck and happy bidding!!

ADDITIONALLY:

WHY DO YOU NOT USE A SECURE SERVER? THE LACK OF 128 BIT ENCRYPTION IS UNSETTLING.

Hi Janefinds,

You should be able to change your cookie settings to prevent this from happening. I have a Mac at home and have used AW and never had trouble with the cookie dropping, or having to sign in all the time.

I will log your request for AMPro support for the Macintosh. Keep in mind that you can use a program on your Mac called Virtual PC that will allow you to download AMPro and take advantage of its features.

Thanks Sonya but my cookie settings are correct, meaning that it is set to accept all cookies. I only have the dropped cookie issue with your site.

As far as using Virtual PC, it's an option but not what I was looking for. I don't know what your Mac user base is but if a photo service like OFOTO can create a bulk upload app then so can AuctionWatch. The Mac does have 10% market share - enough for major software developers to support them for almost 20 years. Can't AuctionWatch?

JaneFinds, I second your request for Mac software. eBay does not provide this either.
On the other hand, I don't think I have ever been dropped from AuctionWatch and had to sign in again during a session while this has happened to me on eBay.

SemiKate-
from her iMac using IE5 to browse.
