I uploaded a batch all to Ebay and noticed that I forgot to add images. I would like one image in the gallery and one other one. Please help...meanwhile I will try on my own.
Also,
a customer just emailed me after I sent a WBN reminder:This is just a friendly reminder to let you know that you were sent an email for the auction that ended on 2002-01-21 22:08:28. >>
This is the content of the email from the customer. They seem pretty disgusted don't they!
"I never received an initial e-mail...I couldn't access the "reminder." Please send me you PAYPAL "name" and total amount.."
This is SOOOOOOOOOOO embarrassing when I have to goto Ebay to send another invoice because they never received the one from AW!
Once an auction is active on eBay, you can no longer add it to the gallery. You can attach images to your existing auction via the 'Image Hosting' tab, using the item number and selecting to attach it to an existing eBay auction.
Sorry to hear of your trouble with that particular WBN, if you would like to keep better track of what was sent and exactly what it looked like - you can setup your account to CC you an exact copy of the WBN that is sent to the buyer, when the buyer is sent their copy.
To do so, go to the My Account tab and click on the post sale link within. You will usually find that the buyers that claim to have never received them, have in fact but misplaced or deleted them thinking it was Spam or a duplicate notice (after seeing the one from eBay.)

Thank you Chris! Image problem fixed. Now.....I do receive a CC of every WBN I send......tell me.....I thought I paid for you to keep track and when the little green square is darkened that means I can rest assured.....the customer has received his invoice(WBN) and I just sit back and wait for his reply? RIGHT? Now I am wondering what to do with other auctions sent or not sent WBNS. Should I send them a reminder too? Sit back and wait? Send another invoice through Ebay? or Paypal or Billpoint? The following is the CC (with deleted names, numbers to specific auctions that I have been getting since I started with you, however, the wording has been changed by you lately in the last week or so....I changed/updated my "listing" information but that should not have affected the WBN at all!)
Hello high bidder,
Congratulations! You are the winning bidder
on eBay item #00000000000,
"Going nowhere FAST AW program".
I look forward to promptly shipping your item.
Please help me quickly process your order by
clicking on the link at the bottom of this
e-mail. The link will take you to a secure
checkout form, which allows you to quickly
enter your shipping and payment information.
--(this next paragraph has got to go...it sounds mean and obviously is untrue because I am busting my ... keeping up with the closed auction)--
Please do not attempt to complete your
purchase using any other method, as it
may delay shipment of your item.
If you have any questions, please reply to
this email.
We appreciate your business!
Thank you,
ramabele

Remember......the customer said the link doesn't work on the reminder! And they never got the first WBN. The last couple of weeks I have been backing AW up by sending another Ebay invoice or Paypal or Billpoint, etc.etc. I have several others I am waiting on a reply from. I will check your answer later..........as to what I should do.

Hi ramabele,
The bottom line is that if you receive the CC, the WBN was sent to the email address the user had stored as their primary address at eBay. We cannot send you the carbon copy, if we do not send the original.
If you are unhappy with the wording in the WBN, go to the My Account tab, click on the Post Sale link and customize the outgoing message to fit your needs. As we noted in this same section, when you switch over from the Express WBN to the Classic one the old wording will not transfer over. There is however a link still within your account to 'View old Express WBN message.'
We haven't had any reports of the reminder link not working, but will forward your note along to engineering to check into this for you. Chances are the full link was not displayed correctly in the buyers email software, and they would have needed to copy/paste the entire link into their browser window to visit the correct/full URL given.
If you do not have a reply back from the original WBN, try simply sending the WBN itself again versus the reminder. Perhaps the user skipped over the original because it arrived at the same time as the one (ended auction) from eBay and dismissed it as a duplicate of that.
