Hello, Everyone!
I recently began to list on Yahoo! and noticed that Auction Manager shows the page hit count as expected- but when I look at the Yahoo-tracked count, it's often up to 4 -5 times higher than what AW shows. Does this have to do with the "smart" counter which is supposed to only count unique visitors?

Or, is Yahoo overstating page hits?

I just posted the same message in the Yahoo forum. I would love to know the answer.

I know I have a lot of proublems launching auctions to Yahoo from AW. I will get error messages when I launch, but, if I wait about an hour and try again, they go through. So I think the counter on Yahoo is the correct count. AW and Yahoo must have some communication problems.

Hi All,

Yes, the reason is because AW uses a smart counter which doesn't count back-toback hits from the same visitor.

Brian AW - That's what I thought!

Cincyonline - I have had the same issue - I heard that you cant launch too many at the same time. Launching only 3-4 at a shot seemed to work better.
