Just discovered the old toy train I've listed (and have 4 bids on!) is O gauge rather than S gauge. I either need to end this auction early and re-list or move it to the correct category.

Hi roadsmith,
After an auction has received bids you cannot change the category. My advice would be to add a note to the listing with an explanation, email the bidders with the new information, or cancel the auction and relaunch.

Say, Brian--I discovered that I *can* indeed change the category, and have already done so! On the other hand, I don't believe it's possible to add a note of explanation once there are bids. I checked, and that's my interpretation of what eBay tells the sellers.
