I often have multiples of the same item that I want to list separately, and after seeing what happens on one auction site, say Ebay, I might want to relist on Ebay, and Yahoo or Amazon as well. Is there an easy way to do this without rewriting the entire auction for Yahoo and Amazon? I also have this problem with items saved in Inventory and in Pending. I may have originally written the auction for one site, but then later want to list it on one of the others, with some minor adjustments, but this does not seem to be possible. It would be nice if there was an easy way in listing and relisting auctions to switch from one site to another. That way, all of the information in the description, as well as selecting the picture and pricing the item wouldn't have to be repeated.

Hi Howdoyoudothat,

You don't have to write the auction over -- the easiest way is to save the auction to your inventory, and then edit the item to fill out the Site Specifics for the other auction venues. Site Specifics is located in the Auction Information section of the edit item page in your inventory. Then you can launch from your inventory, and choose the appropriate auction venue.

Okay, so I had this same question, only with a twist! I had my first unsuccessful auction close, and want to list it now to eBay to see if it will perform any better. But when I built the listing originally, I just did in in "Create Listing" and now I want to save it in my inventory so I can re-route it to ebay; but I see no option to route it to my inventory from my closed list. Is it still possible?

Hi jenraz,
In order to create an inventory item from a closed (unsuccessfull or not) one, you will have to:
1) Select the item from your closed auctions, then hit Relist button;
2) From the relist page, select a future date (this is very important, as you do not actually want to relist the item), and click Relist. The item will be present in your pending section.
3) Click on the item's title in pending section. A preview page opens, and all you have to do is click on UndoLaunch.
4) Item is now in your pending section. Click on the title to edit, and check "Save this item in my inventory" at the bottom of the page.
5) Item should now be present in your inventory, under the Unfilled folder.
Note that your inventory item newly created has site specific information only for the site the item was launched. In order to launch it on other venue, you will have to edit the item and specify site specific information for the other venue(s) on which you intend to launch.
