Hi. When I create jpg picture with my scanner, I can save it to a size of about 12KB. But when I create a picture with my Olympus digital camera, the size is huge, almost 200KB. Can some please advise me how to make my camera pictures the right KB size to work on Ebay...

Thanks, Mike.

Hi Mike,

You can use 200k images on eBay if you want, but it will take some people longer to be able to view them. There are also a number of solutions to make them smaller. You can change the settings of your camera to take lower quality images, or edit them after the fact using an offline or online image editing tool.

If you go to the menu in your camera, look for the image size options, which Olympus sets up as HQ, SHQ, and a few other options. You will know when you have it on the lower size setting because your disk will suddenly show the ability to store more images than it did before.

Good luck! - Let us know if you have any other questions.
