Okay, so I'm an idiot...But can this be fixed? I put the wrong photo as the gallery photo (the other pix in the listing are correct), and the auction has been launched, and it ALSO has a bid on it...Is there anything I can do? TIA, Jennifer

Okay, it's now been more than 24 hours since I filled out the form to change my gallery photo, and it still hasn't been changed....Now what?!

Hi jenraz!
I've never had it take 24 hours to change, but I know they say to allow that much time. First, be sure to "Refresh" your page a few times. If still not updated, go in to "Fix Gallery Image" in "Seller Services" again and check the photo they display as the current one. If it's the old one, just try changing it again. Be sure you have entered the correct jpg for the new one - alot of people get confused & enter the old jpg and, of course, it doesn't change. I know this sounds stupid and simplistic but wouldn't believe how many people do it =) A copy & paste is best here for absolute accuracy. If it needs to be corrected, be sure it doesn't close within the next 24 hrs or the change won't go through.
Sure hope this helps! I completely believe in the effectiveness of photos!! =)

Hi Jenraz,
I would also like to add to Bifette's post that if your gallery picture still hasn't been changed, you may want to contact eBay's customer support department to see if they can speed up the process for you before your auctions closes. Good luck!

I did the same thing and am having a problem fixing it. I know I'm supposed to change the url address for the right picture, but I must be doing it wrong. I clicked on the file name, the picture came up, then I copied and pasted the url address from the navigation bar into the block on the correction form. E-Bay said the image is in a format they cannot process and to convert the image into a jpeg and repost to my web site. All of my images are jpeg, so now what? I tried clicking on the file name, the picture came up, I right-clicked on it, clicked on 'copy', but when I right-clicked to paste it into the block on the correction page, there was no option to 'paste'. Would someone please tell me what I did wrong and the proper way to do it. I would really appreciate it. Thanks!!

Hi, Brian
The name of the image I need to add is ( dennishd.JPG ). I appreciate your quick response. I still need to know if I did the url address right in case I need to do it again. Thanks so much!

Hi, Brian
Thanks for the URL. How do you find the URL for any image? How did you get this one? It's no wonder it didn't work the way I did it!
